Registration

Registration is an all inclusive fee. It includes the whole conference, admission to events and dinners on the 19th, 20th and 21st June 2025.

Fees

In the fee is the following included:

• Guided tour through the Rijksmuseum Boerhaave and Welcome reception
• Boat tour through the Leiden canals
• Buffet/dinner at the Botanical Gardens
• Guided walking tour through the historical city of Leiden
• Drinks and gala dinner “Rijksmuseum van Oudheden” / the Dutch National Museum of Antiquities

Not included in the fee:

• Visit to Thyssania library (15 euro pp; to be paid locally in cash; limited number of participants)
• Visit the Pieterskerk (5 euro pp; to be paid locally in cash)

Cancellation and Refund Policy

The Cancellation and Refund Policy will be as follows:

Cancellation of registration and payment may only be done in writing.
‘In writing’ includes electronic communications; per e-mail to Maaike Klinkenberg at a.o.internationalis@gmail.com

If applicable, refunds will be processed after AOI 2025.
Participants cancelling after April 1, 2025 will not receive any refund.

If the ‘Academia Ophthalmologica Internationalis, AOI’ must cancel the congress due to unforeseen circumstances, the ‘ AOI’ will do its best to refund the costs of registration. However, the ‘ AOI’ does not hold responsibility for any additional costs, charges, or expenses, including travel costs and hotel accommodation.
